FILM, THEATRE, XR PRODUCER
CHRISTOPHER SEPULVEDA is a film, theatre, and XR producer specializing in new work development and production. Recent projects include American Idiot (CTG/Deaf West Theatre), the world premiere play Accommodation (3Gems Productions), and the world premiere musical Winter Lights (Apples and Oranges); the virtual reality musical The Calling, which premiered at the 2023 Slamdance Film Festival; Mozart Her Story - The New Musical at Carnegie Hall; a co-production of Orphee (Deaf West/Theatre Tram) for the Tokyo True Colors Festival; the Edinburgh Festival Fringe premiere of Sleeping Giant by Steve Yockey; Be A Good Little Widow by Bekah Brunstetter; and the world premiere musical Mutt House at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Los Angeles. Additional theatre work includes the Tony Award-winning Broadway production, First National Tour, and West End premiere of An American in Paris with Apples and Oranges, and the hit Broadway revival of Spring Awakening with Deaf West Theatre (which he previously produced in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills); the 2013 Ovation Award-winning production of The Color Purple (Best Musical); the 2011 Ovation-nominated production of Take Me Out (Best Production); the Los Angeles premieres of Altar Boyz and GLAAD Media Award nominee Haram Iran, among others. Christopher helped create the Apples and Oranges Studios THEatre ACCELERATOR new work development program and has worked on The National High School Theatre Awards (Jimmy Awards) since 2014. He was most recently represented on Broadway by The Kite Runner with Franklin Theatrical Group.

His screen work includes producing feature films No One Called Ahead, Emma, Followed, Manson Family Vacation, GBF, He's Way More Famous Than You, Somewhere Slow, Exquisite Corpse, and the award-winning live-action/animation hybrid short film BlinkyTM in collaboration with the Irish Film Board.

A producer at Apples and Oranges, Christopher is a member of the Producers Guild of America and The National Alliance for Musical Theatre. He is an active board member of the Foundation for New American Musicals and an executive board member of Deaf West Theatre.
